When in human history and where on the planet earth have the rich - define them any way you'd like - carried a larger share of a great nation's tax burden than right here in America and right now in 2007?

If we'd like the rich to carry an ever higher percentage of our nation's tax burden, is it a savvier strategy to vilify them or praise them?

If we'd like the rich to cough up more dough, is it shrewder to give them reasons to earn more money that can be taxed toward their fair share or reward them for shielding their earnings and taking longer vacations?

Many ideas are being considered to obtain ever more tax revenues from ever fewer people. This organization is concerned with only one of them.
